Staying Busy, Not Waiting

I gave the beta readers 6 weeks to read a 730-page PDF and I feel like I'm watching water boil. I want to fast-forward to mid-August and get their feedback. Is that normal? Ha!

To keep busy, I've been working through my checklist:

• Set up Goodreads account… check.

• Create Amazon Kindle account… check.

• Create IngramSpark account… check.

• Website / Newsletter… in progress.

• Social media… accounts created, but so far no posts. I know it's supposed to be "jump in and swim," but I want a kiddie pool.

• Book cover design… I found a design agency and I'm working on an inquiry, along with a design comp I've cobbled together.

• Listening to my book… hunting for continuity issues and lines that sound odd out loud… in progress.

• Enable comments on the Journal… support ticket created.

• Learning Atticus to format the book for print and ebook… in progress.

What am I missing?
